How the solution works

The solution collects data at pre-defined intervals from your instruments and sensors via edge connectivity such as LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network), before it is transferred across Inmarsat’s highly reliable L-band satellite network to a cloud dashboard.

The sensors report at fixed intervals to a LoRaWAN gateway which has the ability to connect data from 5km-15km. The data is then transmitted from the edge to the cloud via Inmarsat’s L-band Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) satellite link.

Our technical teams deliver and install the solution on-site and on our networks using our management tools. This will include site visits, training and testing.
We are responsible for the ongoing management of your connectivity services and deliver service levels as outlined in your contract. We work as an extension of your team and provide reporting on the performance of your solution. *NB We do not provide analysis of the data itself.
A camp environment is by its nature transient, so as your projects change we will work with you to augment your solutions and provide support for your next deployment.
